Roxanne Woel, MD

Dr. Roxanne Woel joined Koch Eye Associates in September 2005. Her practice is devoted to general ophthalmology and cataract surgery.

Dr. Woel graduated with a B.A., cum laude from Yale University, New Haven, CT, and received her medical degree from Duke University Medical School in Durham, NC. After completing her medical internship at Exempla St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO, she served her ophthalmology residency at Boston University Medical Center in Boston, MA. Dr. Woel also completed an elective with Cornea/Refractive specialist, Dr. Jorge Cazal in Rio de Janeiro in 2002.

Dr. Woel speaks fluent French and Spanish and conversational Italian and Brazilian Portuguese, and she resides in Providence, RI.
